Pension Credit Advice Session

Pension Credit Advice Session

Although Pension Credit has been available for some time, many eligible individuals are not claiming it. To address this, Cllr Emma Roberts (WNC) and Far Cotton and Delapre Community Council will be holding a pension credit advice session next month. The goal for this 2-hour session is to encourage those of State Pension age to apply for Pension Credit, ensuring that everyone receives the support they are entitled to.

The advice session will be attended by representatives from Age UK and the Community Law Service, as well as customer servicerepresentatives from West Northamptonshire Council. All will be on hand to offer expert advice and help you complete your application.

If you are attending the advice session, you will need to bring the following information with you:

-Your National Insurance number (and your partner's, if applicable)

-Your weekly or monthly State Pension figures (and your partner's, if applicable)

-Your weekly or monthly private pension figures (and your partner's, if applicable)

-Exact amounts of your savings, current accounts, investments, bonds, ISAs, cash, etc., covering the three months prior to the application

If you would like any more information about this session, please contact Kate: clerk@farcottonanddelapre-cc.gov.uk or phone 01604 906077
